Updating the OHIP File
for New Pay Codes

Since this is a text file, clicking the link below will simply display the file in your browser. Rather than have this happen, you need to DOWNLOAD the file. This can be done a few ways:

• On a Macintosh, Ctrl-click on the link, and choose Download Link to Disk (or similarly worded option)
• On a PC, right-click on the link, and choose Save to Disk (or similarly worded option)

If you do not have the option of saving the file to disk, you can click the link to open the file in a browser window (may take a few moments to download completely), then choose File > Save As... from the menu; this will allow you to save the file to your computer, for import later in this document. If you use this method, name the file as shown below.

Detail

1. Go to admin corner click import fee price list. The file should be called OHIP HSC.txt, as downloaded above. The import could take some time to do so choose to do it last thing at night before you go or be prepared not to do any work on your computer till it is done.

2. Go to HSC file on 1st page admin corner and update fee code for all accounts and update appointment tasks if you use them.

3. Go to modifier file and update the modifier changes manually

4. Go to 3rd page admin corner preferences button and the province specific page and update the price for the surgical assist units, aenesthetic units, and write off % for radiology if it has changed.
