Notification of Lab ResultsDate of Tech Note: 12 Aug 1999 DescriptionWith the implementation of Electronic Lab Results being stored in two places, we do not need to notify you of them in both places. Therefore you have the option of being informed of the lab results in one file or the other. This will then not overwhelm those people that do not mark of results as being read in one area and not another. When they suddenly recognize that MediFile is telling them they have 6,000 lab results to read. This will prevent that experience. DetailFrom the File Menu select Computer Preferences. Go to the General Admin page. On that page select the type of notification you want to have. Simply click on the method you want to use.
Click on the check mark button to save the results. If you are entering the lab results manually, then you should use the ‘Results’ notification method. |
