Pict Bundle Error from Multi Billings

Description

When searching for a Billing Agency from within Multi Billings, you may encounter a Pict Bundle Error, such as the one below:



When this happens, it is MediFile’s way of telling us that a certain piece of information is missing in the record for this Billing Agency. Every time MediFile tries to load this record, it will look for this information and fail to find it, therefore producing the Pict Bundle Error.

Detail

In order to correct this error, we have to give MediFile the information it is looking for. To do this, go to the Address Book under the Tasks menu and click on ‘Find’.





Type in the Agency name in the Company field and click on the magnifying glass. Once MediFile has brought the selection up, click on the record once and click ‘Modify’. Choose the Bill Agency Info page from the pop-up in the lower right of the screen.



Click on the ‘Rules’ button in the middle of the screen. At this point you may encounter the Pict Bundle Error again because MediFile is trying to find the missing information. Continue to click through the error until it stops. MediFile will now open a window prompting you with some choices for rules. Click on ‘Cancel’ to take you back to the Billing Rules Detail screen. Click on ‘Save’, and then when returning to the Billing Agency Info screen, click on the check mark to save the record. What we have just done is saved the ‘Rules’ field of the Billing Rules Detail as a blank field. Now MediFile will be able to recognize that this field is intentionally left blank, and therefore not produce the Pict Bundle Error.
