MacLink SetupDate of Tech Note: Aug 12, 1999 DescriptionSetting up MacLink for easy use. DetailFind the MacLink 10 folder, double click on it. Option Click Hold and drag the ‘Document Converter’ file on to you desktop.
Double click on the ‘Document Converter’ file on your desktop.This brings up a list of applications or types of foramats that MacLink can convert from. Select the one that your documents were created with then click on set.
This will then tell the file to convert ‘Microsoft Word 97’ into a Mac generic file. The ‘Document Converter’ file is now named ‘to Microsoft Word Windows 97 do’. Now when you drag your Microsof Word 97 documents onto this file it will convert them to a Mac generic file. |
