Creating A New User on the Image Server
Date of Tech Note: January 1, 2000 DescriptionHow to create a new user on AppleShare IP 6.2 Detail1. Go to the server menu and select AppleShare IP Manager.
2. Click on the Web & File Admin button at the top of the window.
3. Put in the Administrator Name and Password.
4. Go to the Users menu and select "Show Users & Groups List".
5. Click on the New User button at the top.
6. Fill in the name and password. If you wish to allow the user to change settings on the server, click on "Enable User to Administer The Server." Click "Save."
7. Drag the newly created user into the appropriate group, whether it is the Users, Scanners or Administrators group.
8. Go to the File menu and select "Quit" twice — once to quit the File & Web Admin application and the second time to quit the File & Web Manager.
