How to Fix Corrupted Daysheets

Description: How to fix corrupted daysheets

Notes: Do not delete the record to recover the space when the error message comes up. Press cancel and continue with this instruction. If at any point in the process you don’t understand the instruction or if you get lost, call Jonoke.

  1. Go to the File menu and select “Administration.”
  2. Go to “2nd Page,” click on “Clinic Schedule” and select “Appointments.”
  3. Do a find for the “Area Account” and “Appointment Date.” Record the “Daysheet ID.”
  4. Click on “Exit.”
  5. Go to “Clinic Schedule” and select “Daysheet.”
  6. Do a find for the “Area” and “Appointment Date.” Record the “Daysheet Key.”
  7. If the two Daysheet IDs are the same, the daysheet is corrupted.

If the daysheets are the same:

  1. Select the corrupted record and click on “Select.”
  2. Go to the File menu and select “Delete Selection.” Press “OK” to delete 1 record
    from MediFile.
  3. Do a find for the “Area” and “Appointment Date.”
  4. If 1 or more records are found, you will have to drop the indexes.
  5. Go the the “Area Accounts” file and unhide the day you want to use.
  6. Create a new record by clicking on that day from the appointment scheduler.
  7. Put in 200 into the “Next Appt #” field if there are 0 records found.
  8. The record should successfully be deleted. You can create a new record by clicking on
    that day from the appointment scheduler.
  9. Create a new record by clicking on that day from the appointment scheduler.
  10. Go to “Clinic Schedule” and select “Daysheet.”
  11. Do a find for the “Area” and “Appointment Date.” Record the “Daysheet Key.”
  12. Go to “Clinic Schedule” and select “Appointments.”
  13. Do a find for the “Area Account” and “Appointment Date.”
  14. Do a change values on the “Daysheet ID” so that it matches the new “Daysheet ID.”

If the two daysheet IDs are different, something else is wrong. You should, consequently, contact Jonoke.
