Each step of the way, security measures in JonokeMed™ account for the security needs you know about – and even those you don't – yet accommodates the different needs of users without being a hindrance.

Password System

From the "front door," the login screen, until a user signs off, JonokeMed™ is keeping tabs on what they are allowed to access. It is a simple process for the system adminstrator to assign or restrict priveleges for each user, or for groups of users ('role-based' access control).

Confidentiality

Protecting the confidentiality of a patient’s medical information is something that is required by law. Patient confidentiality is an issue that JonokeMed™ takes very seriously.

An individual security profile can be created for each patient in JonokeMed™, shielding the medical information on a patient’s chart so that it can only be viewed on a need-to-know basis.

JonokeMed™ also gives you the option of marking portions of a patient’s chart as confidential. In exceptional circumstances (such as when a patient’s regular doctor is not available), JonokeMed™ allows a temporary override of security protection – while at the same time recording a full audit trail as to who, when, and why the override took place.
