DDX (Differential Diagnosis)

Doctors can make use of the DDx resource records to determine which medical conditions might be the root cause of specific patient symptoms. This kind of resource is of great value in that it takes seconds to locate records which share common keywords or names, and so would contain complementary information as part of the differential diagnosis.

The search term you use in the DDx screen is compared to the information in this file. You are presented with a list of matching conditions. By highlighting an item, you are shown the record of differential diagnosis information. This can be printed out for the patient, or copied for pasting into your encounter notes.

You can modify the information in the DDx resource as needed. This ensures you are able to keep this resource accurate and current.
