The JonokeMed™ FaxButler™ provides your JonokeMed™ system with wide faxing capability. It is the evolution of the standard fax machine into an electronic tool for document distribution. If your clinic is set up with a standard fax machine that requires you to print out a document in order to send it, you will appreciate that the FaxButler eliminates the need for hard copy. Line-ups at the fax machine are also a thing of the past when you set up the FaxButler™ to manage your outgoing and incoming transmissions. Now, staff can send letters and other documents by fax with just a few clicks of the mouse. The FaxButler for JonokeMed™ saves you time and headaches.

System-Wide
The FaxButler™ is available across your whole JonokeMed™ network, including local and remote workstations. Whether you have 1 computer or 100, sending a fax never takes more than a moment, and is never subject to volume constraints. Sending a fax from a workstation is as easy as printing or e-mailing, and – thanks to the Butlers for these methods – the entire system is integrated.

Best Use of Your Fax Line
The FaxButler makes the most efficient use of your fax line. It auto-matically coordinates all the re-sends and incoming faxes for you. You get the optimal use of a designated fax line. For especially high-volume faxing, the FaxButler can be set up with up to 6 fax lines to use simultaneously.

Maximum Ease-of-Use
The many ways in which JonokeMed™ streamlines your office, are further enhanced by the FaxButler. It is yet another feature designed to make your clinic completely paperless. Faxing requires a minimum of effort on the sender's part, when the FaxButler is ready in the background. It uses your existing address book to automatically select known fax numbers. It keeps a keen watch on the fax queue, and attempts to resend documents that are do not get through on the first try. It alerts you to incoming faxes. Rather than use up your own time to take care of the day's faxing, let the FaxButler work away at it, all day and all week.

Receive Faxes
The FaxButler manages incoming faxes along with your outgoing faxes. Even when there are many faxes waiting to be sent, the FaxButler is always ready to accept an incoming one that shows up between sends. With multi-line fax setups, one line can even be reserved for receiving faxes, allowing two-way traffic. Have the FaxButler alert you of new faxes it has stored. If you prefer, you can set up the FaxButler to immediately print new faxes it receives.

Access your JonokeMed™ Address Book
One of the advantages of using the FaxButler is having direct access to the Address Book you maintain in JonokeMed™. The FaxButler will automatically look up the fax number for the person you want to fax a document to. This saves you having to look up the number, or manage a separate fax number list as with other fax software. Sending a fax to many frequently used recipients is as easy as selecting the names from your Address Book.

Save Space in Your Office
Jonoke has yet to see a clinic that is not pressed for space, on shelves, desktops, counter tops, and so forth. With the FaxButler, you do away with bulky fax machines, not to mention the need to make your way to that machine to send a page. Reduce the number of cords connected to each workstation, since faxes are queued to the FaxButler over your network, rather than sent via a phone line. The FaxButler sits in the same area as the JonokeMed™ server, out of the way, and services your full network of computers.

Accounting
You can configure the FaxButler to keep various accounting information in relation to your clinic's fax traffic. Set up faxing accounts and control each, such as by limiting long distance usage. You always have full control over the fax trans-missions for your JonokeMed™ clinic.

Central Audit Trail
A complete audit trail of the faxes sent and received can be maintained. The FaxButler does all this for you, allowing you to access this record from any workstation on your network. This can be very helpful when you need to verify when a fax was sent, or to track fax usage and volume.

Cross-platform
Just as JonokeMed™ works on both Mac OS and Windows computers, the FaxButler is cross-platform. Jonoke used its expertise with platform-independent software development to ensure the FaxButler is usable on either of these two operating systems.
