British Columbia

JonokeMed™ creates billing files that support all the features that MSP supports. This includes the Overnight Batch Eligibility Checking. JonokeMed™ creates the properly formatted billing file along with the checking of the patient PHNs. When the payment file comes back JonokeMed™ fully reconciles this file, and alerts you to the PHN problems for the patients. As required by MSP you still need to send the billings in, and retrieve the payment files using Telplan (yes, you can still use a Macintosh).

The company that developed and supported Teleplan has been bought out. The new company has stated that it will not continue to develop Teleplan software. It is based on an old technology. They have committed to support it for another year. Therefore MSP is looking at other means of submitting billings and doing PHN checking.

We look forward to MSP looking into other possibilities. We are hoping that MSP will be supporting the Internet and FTP, or HTTP.

Alberta

Jonoke has supported Electronic submission since 1987. We have continued to support all features of Alberta Health and Wellness' rules.

JonokeMed™ also creates files in H-Link format! Therefore users of JonokeMed™ do not have to send their billings into a Service Bureau. They can send directly to Alberta Health and Wellness. This is another cost savings that JonokeMed™ provides to our users.

If you still want to use Jonoke's Service Bureau services you can. You can submit your billings to Jonoke 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no limits as to how many people can connect to us at the same time. Jonoke's Service Bureau support goes much further than simply sending in files, and sending back your payment files. We check each claim you send to us. If there are problems we will notify you and make corrections at your request. We also monitor problems. We proactively determine the problems and assist you in correcting them.

Saskatchewan

JonokeMed™ has supported Saskatchewan billings since 1994. JonokeMed™ creates the billing files in the format required by Saskatchewan Health.

Saskatchewan Health requires that you send the file to them via PC Anywhere software. When the payment files from the Ministry of Health are retrieved, JonokeMed™ supports reconciliation of the file. As with the other provinces there is full reporting of the results of the reconciliation.

Manitoba

JonokeMed™ has supported Manitoba billings since 1998. As in Alberta, JonokeMed™ creates the files as required by the Ministry. We also have a special file checking procedure that checks the files before they are sent in. This procedure is similar to the one that the Ministry uses. It generates a report for you that will identify problems before you send a file.

JonokeMed™ fully supports the electronic reconciliation of the payment files. It generates informative reports on the payments, rejections etc.

Ontario

JonokeMed™ has supported Ontario billings since 1996. All the features of Ontario billings from the Ministry are supported including:

• HSO
• Submission via floppy disk
• Submission via modem • Health Card Validation • Coming soon - submission over highspeed internet

JonokeMed™ provides full reporting on both the billings sent in, and the reconciliation of the Remittance Advice file.

Quebec

JonokeMed™ soutiendra plus que des facturations du Québec bientôt. Recherchez une version véritablement bilingue de JonokeMed™ avec le Français Canadien et Anglais. JonokeMed™ devient une application véritablement multilingue. Il semble seulement raisonnable que nous devrions soutenir la langue du choix de nos amis au Québec. Nous sommes actuellement en cours de faire toutes les demandes de Jonoke multilingues. Canadienne française est la première langue que nous soutiendrons. Ceci signifie que chaque utilisateur pourra choisi la langue que JonokeMed™ fonctionnera pour eux. Naturellement les données saisies seront dans la langue originale qu'il a été entré. Ceci donne le meilleur des deux mondes à nos amis au Québec, et les nombreuses autres communautés françaises à travers le Canada.

JonokeMed™ will be supporting more than Quebec billings soon. Look for a truly bilingual version of JonokeMed™ with English and French Canadian French. JonokeMed™ is becoming a truly multi-lingual application. It only makes sense that we should support the language of choice of our friends in Quebec. We are currently in the process of making all Jonoke applications multi-lingual. French-Canadian is the first language that we will be supporting. This means that each user will be able to chose the language that JonokeMed™ will work in for them. Of course the data entered will be in the original language it was entered in. This gives the best of both worlds to our friends in Quebec, and the many other french communities across Canada. Stay tuned for further updates.

Newfoundland and Labrador

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from Newfoundland and Labrador, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this province which moves to JonokeMed™.

Prince Edward Island

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from Prince Edward Island, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this province which moves to JonokeMed™.

Nova Scotia

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from Nova Scotia, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this province which moves to JonokeMed™.

New Brunswick

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from New Brunswick, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this province which moves to JonokeMed™.

Yukon

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from Yukon, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this territory which moves to JonokeMed™.

Northwest Territories

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from the Northwest Territories, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this territory which moves to JonokeMed™.

Nunavut

Currently Jonoke does not support submissions from Nunavut, however this would be implemented for any clinic in this territory which moves to JonokeMed™.
